Description

Grandfather leaves Mina twelve dark moonseeds and one instruction: they do not hurry, and neither should the gardener. Mina waters, worries, asks questions, changes her plan, and accepts help from Mama and Mr. Osei.

When wind tests the tiny shoots and Grandfather’s return is delayed, Mina discovers that roots, repairs, and patient care all count as growing. Recommended for ages 5-9.
