Description

Rillhaven’s seasons arrive by lantern, but the autumn flame will not catch. Apprentice lantern-maker Lio Fen follows a voice inside the feared Hollow Wind and finds that the valley’s four ancient promises were once five.

Beyond a broken bridge waits a buried listening house, a missing weather keeper, and a truth the town chose not to record. To steady the seasons, Lio must help two valleys hear one another again. Recommended for ages 10-14.
